Established in 1998, Equinox is a Connecticut-based private equity firm specializing in making equity and equity-related investments in small to medium-sized companies.  Equinox primarily acquires controlling interests in quality companies with enterprise value in the $10 to $50 million range, a history of operating profitability and strong growth prospects.  Equinox seeks investment opportunities where we can partner with existing management teams that are committed to successfully growing their businesses.

Equinox�s main objective is to build and grow industry leading and innovating companies through internal growth and add-on acquisitions.  Equinox invests in a wide range of industries, and typically focuses on companies that can benefit from a partnership with our firm.  While Equinox does not take an active role in managing its portfolio companies day to day, we are actively involved at the board level and have frequent contact with the senior management of our portfolio companies.
